We want to do something better for the wider community with a physical space and cultural programme to enhance the quality of life for everyone joining our vision.

What We Do

We find properties of architectural interest that are at risk in some of Europe's most exciting metropolitans. We renovate those buildings into homes, creating spaces and places that offer a culturally enhanced lifestyle in Europe.

Our mission is shepherded by imagination and restraint. We believe saving buildings and putting multi-purpose communal “spaces” at their heart is more sustainable and positive for the people who invest with us.

Working with local creative community, the communal “spaces” is a social hub of diversity for knowledge and learning that crosses boundaries. An open forum to contribute and be part of a bigger culture.

We are highly attuned to the dynamics of Gentrification. Every Europe House is developed on a sensible scale in prime locations which offer both tranquility and vibrant communities.

About Us

Europe House Society is the brainchild of Alan Lam and Dr. Yanki Lee. The idea took nearly as long as the Brexit negotiation to marinate.

We have seen an unprecedented mobilisation of people and resources in recent years as a result of the recurring political instability and protracted socio-economic uncertainty. At this pivotal moment in life, we calm our minds, embark on a daring journey and steel the nerves with three simple words. Live Less Ordinary.

Alan and Yanki also co-found the London based Community Interest Company, EXHIBIT at Golden Lane Estate C.I.C in 2004. They curated Super Estate Projects between 2007-2009, a series of workshops and exhibition with artists and local communities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Golden Lane Estate in London.

Golden Lane Estate is a social housing estate managed by the City of London Corporation. In 1997 the whole estate was listed, including the landscaping and public areas at Grade II with the last block, Crescent House completed in 1962, separately listed at Grade II*.

The Europe House Society is being developed as an extension of the Super Estate Projects in the hope of creating a new chapter for business and cultural relations in Europe.
